How it works
Contract staffing is augmentation with an end date attached: a migration, a release, a parental-leave cover, a project with funding for nine months. You get the same vetting and the same overlap, and the term is written in from the start so nobody has an awkward conversation in month eight.
The engineers are our employees, not independent contractors. That matters more than it sounds: in the UK, Australia and much of Europe, the classification of a contractor is a risk the buyer can end up carrying, and employing them ourselves removes that question from your side of the table.
Choosing the right model
When another model fits better
If the need is genuinely open-ended, a fixed term just adds a renewal negotiation. Take monthly staff augmentation instead and keep the 30-day notice.
Every engagement model here is priced on the rates page, so you can compare the options rather than take our word for which one fits.

All-inclusive and indicative, shown so you can compare us against a local hire. Monthly figures assume 160 hours a month and the same for the day-rate markets, so the two always reconcile. Engagements are contracted as a monthly capacity fee or a fixed-scope deliverable, with our own delivery lead accountable for the outcome — see engagement models. There is no setup fee, no recruitment fee and no management surcharge.
Questions
Contract staffing
- Are these contractors or employees?
- Our employees. We do not place independent contractors, because it transfers a classification risk to you that neither of us benefits from.
- What happens at the end of the term?
- A written handover against a checklist agreed at the start: documentation, access revocation, knowledge transfer sessions and a named person on our side for 30 days after.
Other ways to work with us
Named engineers inside your team, reporting to your leads, working your hours.
A squad with its own lead, bought as monthly capacity rather than as a row of hourly timesheets.
Hand over a function — maintenance, QA, cloud operations, support — with the service level written down.
Send us one role brief
One page is enough: the stack, the seniority, the first month of work and the hours you need covered. Three shortlisted CVs come back within 48 hours, with the rate band and notice period attached.
